A Quick Interlude – DEADLINE NOV 30

I have never broken my once a week Sunday post before – but I have news to share. As some of you know, I write a poetry series for Channillo.com called “Colors.” It is where I post two poems a week (every Monday and Friday) about the hues of life. I will add my book link below, but here’s the incredible news…

I’m up for three AWARDS with your kind VOTE!

I’ve been nominated for three different categories for the Channillo 2018 Awards: Best On-Going Series, Best New Series, and Best Poetry. If you are able and interested, I would love for you to check out my work and if you like what you see, give me a quick vote. The deadline is November 30th.

I truly enjoy writing for Channillo and am honored to be nominated. Thank you, in advance, for your support. I would also like to remind everyone that 100% of my Channillo earnings I donate to “Mary’s Place,” an organization fighting for families and children facing homelessness. You pay the amount of a latte each month, gain access not only to my series, but to other series in any genre, and know that your money is going for a good cause (not to mention supporting writers and authors).

It’s a win-win if you ask me! 🙂

I am hoping to have a new poetry book coming in the new year about adoption. I’m wondering if there is an audience out there for this kind of topic, as it is more hyper-focused. You wouldn’t need to be touched by adoption in any specific way to appreciate the poetry, although those who are may find the pieces even more soothing (or awakening). I write from all three perspectives; the birth mother, the adopting parents, and the child. I will keep you posted, but appreciate your feedback as I work through the logistics of this next endeavor.

Thank you to all my Steps In Between followers. I’ve been sharing Sunday posts about my writing journey with you for just over a year… and of course this little interlude of sorts on a Thursday night. Voting deadline is tomorrow. I hope you can forgive my break in pace.

Until Sunday,

Celaine 🙂
