Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
It’s a “Throw-Back ” Sunday for me for two reasons:
1) It’s my father’s and son’s birthday today (yes, on St. Patrick’s Day). A very festive time in our family.
2) My original post on the idea of luck (one year ago) is a dang good one. Rereading it, I realized that luck did, in fact, find me after focusing on Sadie Holloway’s 30-Day Challenge. I went on to publish several poems and learned an enormous amount about myself as a writer. This has led me to move on toward a larger project (as many of you know), my novel rewrite.
My hope is that my readers will find themselves in a good place this St. Patrick’s Day. And if not, take a little time to read my original post and the linked article about finding luck. Take the challenge, you won’t be sorry.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone, and good luck!

It’s so true — because when I was putting a lot of work into writing and submitting, I had a great run of getting published. Funny how it works that way. haha.
